Yair Emanuel=Judaica

The name Yair Emanuel is synonymous with ‘Judaica’. Over 50% of our Israeli artist sales are products of the brilliantly artistic Emanuel. What’s his secret? Why is he so popular? We at canaan-online.com believe it’s his unique blend of youthful vibrancy, kaleidoscopic colors and affordable prices. And, of course, the fact that he designs everything and anything Judaica.

Yair's Best-Sellers

Take for example his best-selling lively Jerusalem Fitted Candlesticks, hand-painted in bright shades of yellow, orange, red, pink and blue, featuring interlocking scenes of the City of Gold on each side. Painted with a fun, two-dimensional childlike style, the two candlesticks are wave-shaped, and can be displayed connected or slightly apart. With his discerning demeanor that doesn't miss a beat, Emanuel created a matching Challah Board & Knife to coordinate with these Candlesticks. Another Emanuel favorite is the Pomegranate Design Raw Silk Appliqued Challah Cover, giving prominence to pomegranates of different hues and sizes. The embroidered words Shabbat VeYom Tov add a spiritual touch to this festive cover.

Wide Range of Materials

Literally spanning the entire gamut of anything and everything Judaica, Emanuel’s products are crafted using a wide array of materials- raw silk for his challah covers, tallit bags and Passover sets; anodized aluminum for his candlesticks, Chanukias; glazed wood for his challah boards and Kiddush cups; glass for his…

A Bit About Emanuel

The works of Yair Emanuel have been influenced by his childhood experiences as well as his education at Israel's finest Art and Design school. Yair Emanuel was born in Kibbutz Shalavim, an Orthodox kibbutz located not far from the city of Mo'diin. His family soon thereafter moved to Jerusalem where he spent his formative years. Emanuel was accepted to the prestigious Bezalel academy of Art and Design, which highly impacted his approach to art. The highly recognizable style used by Yair can be found on items such as Seder plates, Hanukkah Menorahs, wall hangings, Tallit (Jewish Prayer Shawls), Kipot, Kiddush cups, Havdalah sets and more.

Yair Emanuel has been singled out for his ability to hand paint, embroider, and raw-silk applique- in a universally-appealing style- like no other Judaica artist.
