Since ancient times, the Hamsa hand is reputed to bring good luck and protection. This one, from the Israel Museum collection, is uniquely shaped. A replicate of an old synagogue lamp pendant, the fingers of the hand form two doves of peace, back-to-back, with an intriguing cutout Star of David in the palm of the hand. Will hang elevantly on the wall.

The original item is from Feuchtwenger collection, purchased and donated to the Israel Museum by Baruch and Ruth Rapaport, Geneva.

Comes with a certificate of authenticity and a short description in Hebrew and English.
