The breastplate – choshen – worn by the High Priest is a popular Jewish symbol. Here it is, decorating this black wood mezuzah case. It features twelve colored stones – one for each of the twelve tribes of Israel, an eloquent reminder of the need for unity. At the top of the case is a charming silver pewter shin in a flame image.

The base unscrews in order to insert the scroll. On the reverse of the case is a strong double sided adhesive for easy attachment to the door post.
