Here is a modern take on a traditional Judaica item – a Torah Pointer in a minimalist design. The silver aluminum body is gracefully etched with Hebrew wording, "Zot haTorah asher tzivah Hashem" - This is the Torah which G-d has commanded!" The tip is stainless steel as is too the small chain attached for easy hanging.

In order to avoid touching the delicate Torah scroll parchment, the Reader uses a Pointer, also known as Yad (Hand) due to the outstretched finger image used for pointing. If a bar mitzvah boy, or anyone else called for the Reading from the Torah, he can ask for the Reader to use his Pointer.
